We are looking for an individual with recent experience in a technical role at an appropriate level, experience of managing a diverse technical team and carrying out on the job training for team members.
You will be responsible to the Operations Director for the efficient and effective running of the Gulbenkian technical department providing high quality technical support (including lighting, sound, stage management, film projection) and maintenance within Gulbenkian and other venues (indoor and outdoor). Ensuring the highest levels of service to visiting companies and other venue user groups. Maintaining high levels of safety and security in all activities in accordance with legislation, licensing and Health and Safety policy.
You will also be responsible for the development and running of our technical engagement programmes including Tech and tech(y) 31, youth theatre, youth dance, work placement and our student work/study programme. As well as increasing opportunities to engage with students and children and young people.
Salary: £32,958 - 38,183 per annum

You will have experience of programming and/or creative production, planning and delivering a range of projects and events including festivals, of running courses, classes and workshops for young people and effective project management skills including budgeting and strategic planning.
