Cafe Bar Supervisor
Description

You will assist the Café Bar Manager in the supervision and delivery of an efficient and high quality café bar service in a vibrant, family friendly entertainment arts venue. This will include the supervision of a busy bar and set up of Café Live performances.

You will undertake all aspects of stock and cash control, assisting in the service of food and drink and working closely with kitchen colleagues to deliver a first-class dining experience.

You will supervise junior and casual team members on a daily basis, so supervisory experience and team leadership skills are essential. You will need to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Front of House Manager
Description

You will be responsible to the Deputy Director for the efficient and effective running of front of house operations within Gulbenkian and on occasion for external venues (indoor and outdoor) in accordance with the licencing authority regulations and Health and Safety Policy.

You will ensure all users of Gulbenkian are attended to in a friendly and welcoming manner at all times and that a seamless customer experience is delivered.

bOing! Festival Volunteers
Description

bOing! International Family Festival hosts a unique programme of the best creative experiences for children to share with their families. Created by Gulbenkian, bOing! takes place on the beautiful University of Kent campus in Canterbury and showcases work by leading UK and international companies, artists and performers. It is free to enter and is bursting with a mixture of free and ticketed performances. Our ambition is to widen audiences and grow the festival with work going out to other areas of Kent as well as in and around Gulbenkian.

We are looking for volunteers to join us this August on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th at Gulbenkian for an amazing weekend of the very best in theatre, dance, music, films and fun for all the family, packed with magical performances and experiences.

You will gain extraordinary insight into the running of a venue/event. We are committed to helping you develop your skills and your confidence concerning the task of your choice. You will have the opportunity to meet others with a shared passion and we will value your commitment by rewarding you with complimentary tickets to selected shows and films.
